Overview

Use Express Post Parcels for guaranteed* next business day delivery of items up to 20kg in weight, if the place of posting and destination are within the Next Business Day Delivery Network.

If you or your recipient are not within the Express Post Next Business Day Delivery Network, the fastest possible delivery is provided on a non-guaranteed basis.

Checklist For Guaranteed* Next Business Day Delivery

• correctly addressed on an Express Post Parcels address label

• lodged at a postal outlet within the Next Business Day Delivery Network by 5:00pm or local mail closing time, whichever is earlier

• Dangerous Goods Declaration completed and signed

• postage charge correctly assessed and paid.

Express Post Parcels Charges

• Express Post Parcels up to 500grams - $7.70**
• Express Post Parcels over 500grams  - Charge varies by weight.  To assess your cost of postage, use the online postage calculator.

Maximum Size and Weight

Express Post Parcels are not to be more than 105cm in length or have a girth of more than 140cm.  Express Post Parcels can weigh up to 20kg.

Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods cannot be carried by air; and therefore cannot be carried by Express Post.  Dangerous goods include:

• explosives

• flammable materials

• radioactive items

• other dangerous articles

The "No Dangerous Goods" declaration on the Express Post Parcels label must be completed or the parcel will not be accepted.

* The Guarantee

Next business day delivery is guaranteed within the Next Business Day Network, if posted on a business day Monday to Friday in accordance with conditions set out on the Express Post Parcels label.  If not delivered as promised, you will receive a refund of your postage on presentation of the official Express Post Parcels receipt.
